The artistic practice of Ann Veronica Janssens could be defined as a search based on sensory experience of reality, using various forms of presentation (installations, projections, immersive environments, urban interventions, sculptures).
Her artworks, with a record inspired by cognitive processes (perception, sensation, memory, representation) tend to a certain minimalism and highlight the floating and fragile nature of each proposal. The spatialization and diffusion of light and color, strobe pulses, artificial noise, reflective surfaces, are all means allowing her to reveal the instability of our perception of time and space.
